Although I'm a little late (two months to be exact) to jump on the bandwagon, I'm so excited to say that my very first Indie Coffee Passport has finally arrived in the mail!!
Fellow java lovers, if you haven't heard of the this passport yet - go buy one right now! The Indie Coffee Passport is the perfect way to discover your city's independent coffee culture. This awesome venture was started in Toronto in 2010 by two coffee enthusiasts. Over the past five years it has made its way around various cities and currently exists in Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Vermont, Chicago and the East Bay.
How does it work? Basically you purchase the passport for only $30 (plus tax) and it gives you a free coffee at twenty-nine different cafes. Once you make your way to each cafe, you have a unique list of five drinks to chose from (teas, lattés, cappuccinos etc). As soon as your passport gets stamped, kick back and relax with a good book or good company at the cafe of your choice!
The Indie Coffee Passport is updated each year and gives us an amazing opportunity to explore our local coffee scene on a budget. For someone like me who currently lives in an "adopted city" it's also the perfect way for me to discover new neighbourhoods and leave the comfort of my tiny downtown bubble.
Stay tuned and follow my adventures through Montreal as I use my Indie Coffee Passport to explore this beautiful city!

Summer to Fall
Hi Everyone! This past week we have definitely felt a sudden drop in temperatures but I'm sure it will go back up soon. It's a little tricky to dress appropriately when the seasons are changing. Hope you enjoy the looks below!
This dress below is a new one from Express! I saw it at a mall in Philadelphia and fell in love with the shape of the skirt. It didn't hurt that there is no sales text on clothes and shoes in Pennsylvania! Below, I pulled out an old but classic leather vest and my favourite pink scarf! I can't wait to layer this dress in so many different ways. I'm sure I will be wearing it all through the fall and winter!
I pulled out my cashmere sweater for a more relaxed and cozy look at the office below.
It just happened to warm up a little more and I thought I'd take my fun polka dot skirt out for one last spin before it got too cold!
I love wearing this super comfy, striped shirt from Reitmans. To make it work appropriate, I added a statement necklace to make it a bit more formal with a skirt and t-strap heels.
As you can probably tell, I love wearing stripes and dots a lot! Hope you enjoyed my transitional looks this week. Thanks for stopping by!

Bright Summer Outfits
As you all know, I'm a huge fan of wearing colours and prints. In the outfit below, I threw together a "going out" top with a pencil skirt and added a bright belt. Voila!
This dress is one of my favourites. It's comfortable and super versatile. I got a lot of compliments when I wore it to work!
I've had this pink blouse for a long time and it's a great top! I love how feminine the frills make it. It's fun but also office-appriate when paired with this conservative grey pencil skirt.
I love casual Fridays! The star of this outfit is the mint green bolo tie necklace which I bought at a boutique in Texas!
I never thought to pair this graphic tank with navy pants and a coral blazer but as soon as I threw on the top with the pants, I know I needed to blazer to make it work. This is what a wore at the office on another casual Friday!
Hope you all enjoyed these looks! Thanks for visiting!

Summer Outfits: Conservative Looks
Hello Everyone! While I love to wear colours and fun prints, I also wear a lot of conservative outfits to work depending on what I have on my agenda. Client meetings, internal meetings and sometimes even cocktails require me to put the brakes on the colours. Here are some of my neutral looks lately.
Thanks for letting me share!

More Summer Outfits
Hi Everyone!! I'm still playing catch up on my outfit pictures, so today i'm sharing a few more photos of my summer looks!
Coral and blue - one of my favourite combinations!! I love the sleeves on the blouse below. I also love the nude wedges that I bought in Florida from Aerosoles. They are plush and just so comfortable. It feels like I'm walking on a cloud!
Chambray is my favourite since it's so versatile!! I can wear this top on the weekend with leggings, but also wear it in pretty much any season with a skirt or dress pants in the office! Might need to start looking for another similar top so I don't wear this one out!
Another one of my black and white looks. You probably recognize the top as a dress! I'm really into layering dresses as skirts and tops lately! I feel like it instantly doubles my wardrobe and gives me endless possibilities!
The top is actually a tropical dress! It's flowy and perfect for a summer night out, but I paired it with a black skirt for the office. My favourite mint green denim jacket so perfect on top! This look ended up being way more fun then I thought it would!
More colours!! I would never have thought to pair the aqua cardigan over the blue blouse but I got inspired by a photo on Js Everyday Fashion where she "colour blocked" using a similar palette.
This outfit below ended up being one of my favourites! It's playful but conservative at the same time! Gotta love the animal print.
Have a great weekend everybody!

Outfit Catch Up!!
Hi Everyone!! My apologies for the lack of posts but I had such an amazing summer and didn't have a chance to update the blog!! We have finally slipped into my favourite season of the year! While it's always a little bittersweet to say goodbye to summer, there's cozy sweaters and pumpkin spiced lattes to look forward to! While I organize my travel photos, here are some of my outfits lately. ( can't wait to share more with you all in the coming days!!
I always love wearing bright colours in the summer. The red blouse adds a little more personality to my otherwise neutral/conservative outfit!
I had planned to go out for cocktails with some colleagues and though a fun dress would be appropriate for the occasion!
I got a lot of nautical / sailor comments about my outfit below. Good thing I love anchors and everything else associated with water! The blouse is one of my favourites from Forever 21, and it's so versatile. I can easily dress it up, dress it out, pair it with colours or keep it neutral. Classic!
I hope you enjoyed this little update of my outfits from the summer! More to come - until then take care!
I have had this gingham dress for ages! I'm so happy that the pattern has finally come back into style. I paired it with a red cardigan to keep me warm in the office.

Here's my classic black and white for my church choir!!

Labour Day Weekend in Philly
I have flown through Philadelphia a number of times but this was the first time I actually spent time in the city. I loved the Reading Terminal Market, Rittenhouse Square, the Liberty Bell and also the City Hall but going to Made In America was the cherry on top!

La Colombe
La Colombe Coffee Roasters is a popular name for many. With locations in New York, Washing DC, Chicago and Philly, this gorgeous, French inspired café is one you cannot miss! They serve coffee, tea, breakfast and brunch food.
Alan and I went to the Rittenhouse Square location. For a tourist like me, the café was perfectly situated and just steps away from all the other touristy things I had on my itinerary! As soon as we walked in we were greeted with the longest line up ever - I immediately knew the wait would be worth it!
The café was large and spacious inside but still perfectly cozy. They had the coolest industrial design on the inside with gorgeous décor. The tables even matched the cups and saucers.
This was the first time I had seen cold brews available on tap! They had draft lattés, pure black, and black & tan. I will definitely try one of these next time I'm visiting on a hot summer day! I had a delicious latté and Alan had a cappuccino. Their pastries looks amazing as well but we had just finished a delicious and healthy breakfast so I didn't want to ruin that!
La Colombe was not the cheapest place, it was probably equal to Starbucks in my opinion, but I think it's worth it to support local businesses. I loved having a moment of quiet to just sit down and enjoy my coffee with Alan before a very busy (but fun) moving day.
