Doktor Luke's

Doktor Luke's is the cutest independent coffee shop in Sydney, Nova Scotia! I had a chance to explore the Prince Street Market shops and the downtown area a bit and then stop in and enjoy a drip coffee here before my cousin's wedding! 

The ambiance is very cozy and welcoming! I loved the relaxing atmosphere, observing students study (I don't miss those stressful days!) and seeing friends catch up over a cup of joe! I'm so glad I had a chance to relax here and definitely recommend this if you ever find yourself in Cape Breton and are looking for a cup of coffee or a good pastry! 

Cape Breton, Nova Scotia

I had the chance to spend a beautiful fall weekend in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia for my cousin's wedding! Some of my favourite memories included driving along the Cabot Trail with my parents, visiting the Alexander Graham Bell museum, exploring the downtown area, seeing the Big Fiddle, learning more about the Aboriginal's culture and history, of course spending time with my family at my the wedding! 

The food was delicious, the people were so friendly and the lifestyle felt very slow and relaxed! I hope I have a chance to visit eastern Canada again in the future!

Copper Cow Coffee

After seeing ads for this brand online, I finally had a chance to try the chai pour over latte by Copper Cow Coffee! This delicious brand was founded by a female, Vietnamese entrepreneur who was inspired to share her culture with friends through food and coffee. Out of that desire, came the signature Vietnamese-inspired lattes.

The coffee is really easy to make in just a few steps and takes less than 2 minutes! You simply open the coffee bag, hang the wings of the bag over your mug and pour hot water! After about 90 seconds, your coffee is ready! You can add as much creamer as you like to top it off! I love that the coffee filters are prefilled for single-serve portions so you get the perfect cup every time and you don't need any fancy equipment! It would be perfect to take on trips or camping!  

There a ton of pour over latte flavours and ground coffee options as well which you can browse on the website here! You can find Copper Cow Coffee products at a lot of major retailers in the US and online as well. Hope you're able to give this a try if you're a fan of Vietnamese coffee!
